Cruisin around {Republic Bike}

How fun are these bikes? I knew hubby & I each needed one when I saw the email from CB2. The vibrant yellow tires, the clean lines, the deep red stitched grips, the red bell & the basket {perfect for Thor to chill in}... I can already picture us cruising around the park & peddling to yogurtland on warm summer evenings. Now if I only I was not unemployed & saving money for our adoption & could spend an extra $1000 to cruise around town in style.

Education {our adoption}

I am so thrilled our adoption agency has asked us to be the education coordinators for the Orange County division of the agency. This will give us the opportunity to plan all the meetings {in order to adopt through the agency each couple needs to reach a designated amount of hours through education, books, movies, etc.} we will be in charge of all the topics to be discussed. I am super excited they have asked us to do this! There are so many questions I have {and everyone I talk to about adoption asks so many questions too} I will now be more informed so I can educate myself & others on the topic.

Sailor Stripes {shorts}

These shorts are the perfect match {in a mix-matched way} to my new suits I picked up in NYC. I would wear them to the beach & around town. My personal fav is the little gold buttons... adorable. Now if only my legs looked that sexy & slim.

SUGAR Lips {fresh}

This little tube is one of my favorite lip products. Unlike most lip products it does not have a strong flavor, its subtle & smooth {not overly creamy or sticky}. It always leaves my lips feeling refreshed! It also has SPF 15 to help keep your lips from burning up. You can find it at Sephora or fresh.

Prayers {for Japan}

I lounged in bed in disbelief last night as I watched the absolute devastation overcome Japan. I was so worried for all my friends & co-workers who live in Japan {thankfully they have emailed me & are safe}. I am terrified for the day the big quake hits California I am not prepared. I feel extremely fortunate to believe in God and understand he has a plan for me {and each of us} with out this knowledge I would not be able to get through each day. Japan is in my prayers.

Pardon my absence since my return from NYC{post to come soon about the trip}. I have been busy adjusting to my new life and LOVING every moment of freedom. The weather has been incredible all week {82 degrees} so I have been spending lots of time in the sun in my new suits I picked up in NYC. Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather too.
