Thanksgiving weekend ...

The weekend was filled with fun, food, friends, family & sunshine!

Thursday morning breakfast at our place. 

eggs.potatoes.cinnamon rolls.green juice.donuts.bacon.

busted out my leather & denim jacket for turkey day

Thanksgiving dinner at my cousins place in Newport. He is in the process of remodeling the entire place. He cooked our meal on all his vintage appliances.

A little midnight madness black friday shopping at Macy's. 

Got everything on my list for discounted prices.

Enjoyed the warm temps all weekend. 

Spent Saturday outside at the park & Fashion Island.

Took the little man to see the giant tree at Fashion Island.

Met Harper for the first time. Had a yummy breakfast at Auntie's house.

Ended the weekend with a huge feast at my mom's house.

 The little guy had to be at the table for our meal!

Now onto Christmas! My favorite holiday of the year.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

This week I have been reflecting on all the wonderful little & not so little things in my life which I am grateful for.  I can not even begin to express my gratitude for my amazing little miracle. I fall deeper in love with him each day & I feel so fortunate to be with him each day watching him grow and change. My life has forever changed & I LOVE it! Grateful today {and everyday} for my belief in Jesus Christ & the power of prayer. Each and everyday I am beyond thankful to our birth mother who loving gave me the greatest gift anyone could EVER give. My heart is overflowing with love & gratitude.

Being that I love shopping it is difficult to Christmas shop for others with out finding a few {or alot} of items I want for myself! Spotted so many delights at Kate Spade, I need the the bow bridge bangle! 

It's a wrap {old navy}

Looking for an affordable warm stylish scarf? I spotted the black & white zig zag scarf at old navy. I know,  I too am surprised by how cute old navy has recently become! They also have a good selection of bright colored scarves in store.

If I had an extra few hundred dollars I would pick up a leather, fur & zippers motorcycle jacket. The soft buttery leather & tight fit of the elizabeth & james Rory jacket would be oh so perfect for me! I spotted this beauty while browsing Nordstrom this week.

Cute & Colorful.  Perfect for a cup of cocoa on a chilly night. With all the icy cold nights we have been having I think I needs a few new mugs in my cupboard along with some toasted marshmallows. Pick yours out here.

A perfect combination. I adore everything about this durable backpack from the style, the materials & the colors. My preference for a bag is a backpack {it is necessary to have access to both hands while shopping} and I can cram a ton of stuff in a backpack with out it feeling too heavy. Currently on sale here.

 I was immediately drawn to happy socks when the bright colors & fun patterns caught my eye while doing market research {I saw them in all the fun boutiques in every city I went to}. Being that I am always chilly I need a large supply of socks {& tights} in my wardrobe. The images from their lookbook are gorgeous! Pick a pair or two at American Rag, Nordies, Barneys Coop, Fred Segal, Madewell & many more stores...

walk in the rain {zara}

Finally it is raining! I have been waiting to wear my new rain boots for a month! They are light {in comparison to the Hunter wellies}, comfortable & affordable. Found at zara kids.

My little can never have too many pairs of shoes! He needs these adorable mini red suede fringe booties from Minnetonka. Their leather wears well over time & never goes out of style. I love the pair I have had for years!
